Our Mission

The Youth Guidance Golf Marathon is an all-day golfing event to help provide hope and a future for at-risk and incarcerated youth in Central Ohio through the relationships they build with the staff and volunteers of Central Ohio Youth for Christ’s Juvenile Justice Ministry.

WHERE

Gracing the northeast Columbus countryside is the architecturally inspired Royal American Links.
Designed by Dr. Michael Hurdzan, the 27,000 square foot clubhouse is reminiscent of a Scottish castle, and the 18-hole links style golf course joins hands with nature to present a place of ultimate tranquility and relaxation.

From bent grass tees, fairways and greens manicured to the highest standards, the course is convenient to Galena, Westerville, New Albany, Sunbury, and just minutes from I-71 and I-270.

WHY

Since it's beginning in 1996, Central Ohio Youth for Christ Juvenile Justice Ministry Chaplains have provided hope and encouragement to more than 7,000 incarcerated teens in five Central Ohio detention centers.

When youth are arrested they often reach one of the lowest points in their lives. Being removed from their normal influences creates openness to change that often does not exist on the outside. The only way for an incarcerated youth to turn from their life of crime is through the power and grace of God. Through your generosity Youth for Christ's Juvenile Justice Ministry stands ready to share the love of God with these young people.

Sponsor a hole!

Hole sponsorship for $500 will get your company's logo on the golf course at one of the holes! There are 150-200 kids in juvenile detention centers across Ohio every day. Sponsoring a $500 hole comes down to giving about $2.50 per kid. Just donate $500 or more to any of our golfers and send your logo (if you have one) to ksullivan@coyfc.org to sponsor a hole!
